International Student Fee: $1,500 (non-refundable fee)

Tuition Deposit: A non-refundable tuition deposit of $1,500 for all students is due upon acceptance. The tuition deposit is included in the total tuition and is not an additional fee. The Tuition Deposit cannot be prorated and is non-refundable. Student Tuition Deposits for returning students are due by April 1st.

 

** Please note, tuition prices at HCA contain no hidden fees – tuition costs include textbooks, activity fees, yearbook, and athletic expenses. The only additional costs for families are uniforms and an optional lunch program. We do also ask that families prayerfully consider participating in our Annual Fund.

 

Discounts to Tuition:

6% pre-payment discount (on remaining tuition balance after the tuition deposit is paid) for payment in full by March 31.
5% pre-payment discount (on remaining tuition balance after the tuition deposit is paid) for payment in full by April 30.
4% pre-payment discount (on remaining tuition balance after the tuition deposit is paid) for payment in full by May 31.
3% pre-payment discount (on remaining tuition balance after the tuition deposit is paid) for payment in full by July 31.
2% pre-payment discount (on remaining tuition balance after the tuition deposit is paid) for payment in full after August 1.

 

Early Commitment Discount:

By paying your tuition deposit ($1500 per student) in full before April 1st, you can “lock-in” the current years tuition schedule for the next year, avoiding the tuition increase for the next year. The Early Commitment Discount is designed to reward families who enroll or reenroll before April 1st thereby helping the school administration plan for our next school year.
 

Multi Child:

Child 1: Pays full tuition
Child 2: 12% tuition discount (excluding the deposit & other fees).
Child 3: 25% tuition discount (excluding the deposit & other fees).
Child 4 or more: 100% tuition discount (excluding the deposit & other fees).

 

Pastoral Discount:

The Board of Directors has approved a 25% discount on tuition (excluding the deposit fee) for all full time Pastors. An application for the pastoral discount must be submitted at time of acceptance. Get application here.

 

Financial Aid:

Through our Annual Fund and other outlets of receiving financial resources, Horizon Christian Academy is able to provide financial aid to families in our school community. The HCA Scholarship Committee gives preference to families in need of financial aid and decides additional awards based on merit and other considerations. The Financial Aid season runs from January-March prior to the upcoming school year. Families are encouraged to register for financial aid through FAST (Financial Aid for Student Tuition) resources.
