Role on Board: Chair
Professional Background: Accomplished leader with over twelve years of service at Apple Inc. overseeing $150M+ in revenue and leading a high-performing sales team serving higher education and academic medical centers. Her career includes marketing and business development roles at Newell Brands, Kimberly-Clark, Pearson Education, and Eastman Chemical. She also founded a career coaching business supporting professionals in transition. Inga holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, an MBA from Vanderbilt, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Connection to the School: Parent of Evan, an 8th grader at HCA.

Why I Serve: I’m drawn to HCA’s mission and believe deeply in the power of education to shape lives. It’s a joy to serve alongside others who value faith, learning, and community. I see my role as board chair as an opportunity to support a Christ-centered environment where children are nurtured spiritually, academically, and personally. God has blessed me with an amazing husband, Joe, a firefighter paramedic in Forsyth County, and two incredible children, Kara and Evan.

Professional Background: Graduated from North Georgia College and State University in 1998 with a BBA in Accounting, and from Georgia State University in 2003 with a Masters in Taxation. Licensed CPA in Georgia. Partner at a national CPA firm with 26 years of experience.
Connection to the School: My husband Ty and I have four children—three currently at HCA and one who graduated in 2024. We’ve been part of HCA for eight years. I’ve served two years on the Booster Club, seven years on the Board, and recently completed six years as Board Chair.
Church Affiliation: Local Church Forsyth
Why I Serve: Serving on the Board has allowed me to invest in anenvironment where faith and learning walk hand in hand, nurturing each child’s relationship with God. It’s a privilege to guide decisions that shape lives, championing excellence, integrity, and Christ-centered values. I’m grateful to collaborate with others passionate about empowering the next generation to lead with grace, conviction, and compassion. God has big plans for HCA, and I’m humbled to be a steward of His vision.

Professional Background: Owner of Mold Trust, founded in 2012. Brings a strong business perspective to the board. Connection to the School: Parent of three children who have been part of the Horizon family. Alyssa is currently enrolled and set to graduate in 2028.
Church Affiliation: Canvas Christian Church
Why I Serve: Dedicated to Horizon Christian Academy’s Christ-centered community and its mission to impact the next generation. Passionate about men’s ministry and rooted in the Christian faith, having attended Faulkner University where he played collegiate golf.
Role on Board: Member
Professional Background: I began my teaching career as an elementary teacher in Maryland, followed by teaching assignments in Virginia, Florida, and Michigan. In 1983-1984, my husband and I served as missionary teachers in the Solomon Islands in the south Pacific. Returning to the school my husband and I helped start in Virginia, I was named the Head of School in 2002. When we moved to Georgia in 2004, I served as the K-8 Principal at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell then the Head of School in 2013. After recently retiring from Fellowship, I joined Graybeal & Associates – a firm that trains boards in the Policy Governance model of governing. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Leadership Program at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. All of my experience has been in Christian education.

Why I Serve: With a heart for Christian education, being invited to join the Board after I retired from Fellowship was an honorable next step for me. The mission, vision and core values of Horizon Christian Academy marry well with my past experiences and desire for students’ aspirations for their future. Serving on the Board is an opportunity to pour into others what God’s poured into me.

Professional Background: Owner of Giorgio’s Family Kitchen, serving the community for over 35 years.
Connection to the School: Coach of the HCA Varsity Girls Soccer team.
Why I Serve: As a Christian, devoted husband, and proud father of two, I am committed to supporting Horizon’s mission. I value community, leadership, and faith, and enjoy staying active through farming, training, and fitness.

Professional Background: Vice President of Operations for Island Property Investments. Successfully oversees property investments, sales, and renovations.
Connection to the School: Parent of four children at HCA. One 2025 graduate heading to SCAD, and children in 10th, 9th, and 6th grade. Part of the HCA family for nine years.
Church Affiliation: Local Church Forsyth
Why I Serve: As a dedicated mother, professional, and active church member, I support HCA’s mission and community. I believe in fostering connections through faith, family, and friendship.
Role on Board: Member
Professional Background: Sr. Director Product Management for Environmental Solutions Group. Responsibilities and oversight of new product development, market growth, and profitability.
Connection to the School: Parent of four boys, one that attends UGA and three that attend HCA in 11th, 8th, and 5th grades.
Church Affiliation: Creekside Church
Why I Want To Serve: HCA offers its students an environment to strengthen their wholistic relationship with Christ through growth in mind, body, and spirit. Supporting the school’s mission to prepare world-changers in our community is both an honor and privilege.
Role on Board: Member
Professional Background: I serve as Manager of the Service Desk team at Scientific Games in Alpharetta. I also serve as an elder at the Chestatee Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Connection to the School: This is my first year as a part of the Horizon family! My wife, Irma, and I made the decision to move our son, Evan, for his 10th grade year and we haven’t regretted it for a minute! We also have a daughter, Kayla, who is in her Freshman year at Southern Adventist University pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Why I want to Serve: Having been a product of Christian education myself, I recognize the value that exists in it! I’m looking forward to serving on the board of HCA, making an impact for this and future generations who come to HCA for a Christ-centered education.
