Player of the Year

Congratulations to Malachi Mathis for being named the first ever Forsyth County 8-man Defensive Player of the Year. Malachi helped the Warriors through their postseason run, leading them to wins over Vidalia Heritage Academy and Kings Way Christian school, then David Emanuel Academy in the GAPPS Class 1A 8-man state championship game. HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL –. The #2 seed Warriors defeated the #3 Seed Praise Academy last night 45-46.  The Warriors jumped up quickly on Praise Academy with a 19 point lead at the half.  Praise Academy managed to claw their way back as the game went down to the wire. Malachi Mathis and Camden Moore both had double-doubles. Mathis had 22points 12 rebounds while Moore had 10 points and 11rebounds. Evan Holcombe contributed to the Warriors win with 10 points and 4 rebounds. The Warriors will hang on to advance to the Semifinal game against The Grace Academy on Thursday at 5pm . A win Thursday night will send them to the finals on Friday Feb 12th at 8pm. A lose tomorrow night will land the Warriors in the Consolation game Friday night at 5pm for a battle for 3rd place.

  • fans must park in marked parking spaces and respect drive through entrances as well as handicap parking.
  • If there are no parking spaces available, you are welcome to park in the field in front of the school.

  • Each player and coach will have a temperature screen as you enter the gym area.
  • A face covering is required unless seated with your team.

Families and Fans:

  • Cost is $7 for Adults and $3 for Students
  • A Face Covering should be worn when not seated in a socially distanced manner.
  • Please sit in family pods to allow for social distancing.
